1. Barcelona, Spain

Last year, the city saw a whopping 32 million visitors, many of them day-trippers. Popular areas like Las Ramblas are prime spots for being pickpocketed, as tourists are distracted by the many shops, stalls, cafes, street performers and impressive buildings.
2. Rome, Italy

A trip to Rome isn’t complete without a visit to the awe-inspiring Colosseum, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain, to name a few. But as tourists snap away and admire the fascinating history of the city, many find themselves the target of cunning thieves.
3. Prague, Czech Republic
